The OS says that ticket sales have exceeded the opening game last season (21,727) which is kind of expected I would have thought.

I thought they sold to data base only for all matches (though agree OS appears to suggest otherwise).

They restrict it to 'database only' when the away allocation has sold out. This way, Leeds fans who can't get tickets through their own club won't be able to sit in with the saints fans instead...

I think general sale means anybody can buy a ticket whether you are on the database or not?

Yes, otherwise you could never get ON the database!

TO. But it includes Leeds fans I guess. Still, anything around 30k for a game in the middle of kids' holidays when everyone's skint, as well as being on sky, is a great turnout.

No where near a sellout. Will be 23,000 to 25,000 maximum I reckon.

Should know by now we have fans who only turn out for Wembley, Man Utd, Pompey games and last match of the season when there's something to celebrate.

Heard there is only around 1000 tickets left, so if anyone hasn't got theirs yet and were planning to get it on the day I'd book it now and collect it before the game because at this rate you're gonna be sat at home watching it on the tellybox. Absolutely buzzzzzinggg for this mate, the atmosphere is going to be eletric with Leeds away support being in the top 3 in the country, added to our already magnificant support with the buzz of promotion still running through everybody's veins. Lets get it orrrrrnnnnnnnnnnn!

They said on the official site a couple of days ago that they'd sold 20,000 to Saints fans, so plus 3000 Leeds fans, I'd say 25,000 minimum on the day probably!

If that were the case then no new fans could ever buy tickets for games!

You just have to look at when we played Leeds in league 1, the fixture does draw in a big crowd!
