I don't really blame anything for yesterday bar the fact that when we scored a goal we did that thing we always do... sit back and shiver, hoping our one goal will be enough. Before that goal, Sunderland were woeful. If we kept the same pressure and style after the goal, Sunderland would probably have continued to be poor. We let them get back into the game and gain confidence.I refuse to blame the left-back for anything. Firstly, he's a kid on debut playing against an international who has just been bought for £14m but more importantly if he'd been close to N'Dong, there would have been acres of space between him and the centre-halves. The fault lies with the midfield IMO.
