Bread and butter team on Saturday which I somehow feel will be pivotal for Vince and maybe the team as a whole. Lose it and then lose to City won't be good for morale.
Fair play to the unnamed player. He looks much fitter than he has recently. Looks like the latest round of hair plugs aren't taking, though, for some reason.
Updated odds on the first manager to be sacked this season 2/1 - Mark Hughes 3/1 - Francesco Guidolin 6/1 - Tony Pulis 12/1 - Slaven Bilic 14/1 - David Moyes 16/1 - Alan Pardew 25/1 - Aitor Karanka 33/1 - Claude Puel, Walter Mazzari 40/1 - Arsene Wenger, Eddie Howe, Sean Dyche, 50/1 - Jose Moronho, Mike Phelan 66/1 - Claudio Ranieri 80/1 - Antonio Conte, Mauricio Pochettino, Ronald Koeman 100/1 - Jurgen Klopp 125/1 - Pep Guardiola No, it's not a typo that Conte has the same odds as Poch or Koeman. It should be, but it's not.
Wenger should be 1000/1. It seems the Arsenal board have exactly zero expectations from him, so he cannot really fail. The waste of resources from him would have meant the sack anywhere else, but luckily for him the Arsenal board don't seem to care.
It's not a great sign that my first thought was, "2/1 for Hughes? That's not bad, is it". The odds don't normally dip that low before a manager gets the boot. I've no idea why Swansea felt the need to give Guidolin was given a new contract in the summer, to be honest. The club made some decent signings in the summer, but he's done nothing to impress me at all. Both of those managers could easily be shown the door with one or two more bad results. If West Brom were to nick a win at the Britannia on Saturday, then you'd be surprised if Hughes lasted the week.
Poch is 80/1? Awful odds. Should be 8000/1. How Ranieri isn't similar either is crazy, Leicester could go through a relegation spiral and end up in League 1 or 2 and I'd still be surprised if they sacked him after what he's done for them.
Random question as you lot had 2 trips to the San Siro fairly recently, did anyone on here go? And if so where abouts did you drink/congregate? Thanks in advance
The Mirror has an article where Klipperty Klopp has allegedly gone full Jose about bus parking : http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/liverpool-boss-jurgen-klopp-accuses-8890792 Is that what happened at WHL then ?? Or should he be grateful he played Spurs so early in the season and so soon after Euro 2016 to be able to take one point ??
I assume Burnley don't count because they are not a "top" club ?? Or is it because they really did park the bus yet still won 2-0.
I didn't, but they put on a booze ban in 2013, IIRC. Irish bars and no club colours are the rules of the day, from what I've heard.
Good point I forgot about '13 Will be pretty gutted if there is a booze ban tbh. So will 8,000 other Saints! When there's a will there's a way though
It was because it was us, specifically. Lazio fans attacked us earlier in the same season. Can't think why... please log in to view this image
