£15 Season Ticket Holders and £20 everyone else.

Probably lost money after paying expenses and Blackburn, FL share.

To be honest if it was free you still wouldn't have got 20K tonight.

This is why Leeds can't compete with the bigger Championship clubs

Now I knew you lot wanted to be more like us, just didn't think you meant attendances <laugh>

He failed to mention who the Geordies, Derby, and the Scabs were playing

A few thoughts about the game ....

Never looked like losing, but until Wood & Hernandez came on, we never looked like winning either! Couple of odd positional choices, neither of which really worked - Phillips playing as no.10 & Mowatt on RW.

Silvestri - 2 clearances went out to touch. Apart from that, he was impeccable. Made one world class save that I'm sure Green would have been flat-footed for. He also did a double clearance, both punches. Green did much the same to acclaim, only he used his palms. All I heard around me was 'he should have caught it' & 'he punched it straight out to their player' (failing to notice that there wasn't one of ours far enough forward to receive it. The lad will never win - minds are too closed towards him.
Coyle - Didn't have a great deal to do, tbh, but was accomplished in everything that he actually did do, and tbh, looked a lot better than Ayling.
Bartley - was typical Bartley. Excellent.
Cooper - great to see him back. Poor sod got lumbered marking their giant #19, Sam Gallagher, so had his work cut out. Did very well. Comforting to know that we have him in reserve instead of a time-bomb like last season.
Taylor - improving, but still not the Taylor of old. Crapped out of a couple of tackles again, but did look a bit more enthusiastic than has become the usual.
O'Kane - Bridcutt mark 2, but a bit calmer in the way he goes about things. Spent part of the second half up front, with Phillips in his place. Before you ask, I have absolutely no idea why.
Viera - didn't really notice him. not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Went off injured on the hour mark.
Roofe - still isn't hitting the mark, but there were signs of improvement. Ha a few chances where he chose to play others in instead of being greedy. Think he might have got a rocket at half time, as he was more selfish (& better) in the second. I honestly think he's be a better choice as a lone striker than Antonsson, despite his lack of stature, as he excels in shielding the ball then laying it off. Dirty little sod when it suits him too. Needs more practice with his diving though - embarrassed himself a couple of times.
Phillips - wasn't really suited in this position. Put in a shift, but wasn't the creative force you'd want as a no. 10. Dropped back to DM when Hernandez came on & contributed much more to the team from then on in.
Mowatt - having proved he's hopeless on the left wing, they play him on the right. Result? He's hopeless. Anyone surprised by this? Absolutely knackered on the 60 minute mark & got hooked - but not until 80 mins!! Perhaps I set too high an expectation for a Leeds player.
Antonsson - does a lot of running. Obviously been training for this. Personally, I'd prefer it if he spent his time being coached in passing, shooting, heading etc. - you know, the basics. It's about time he learned.

Subs
Hernandez
- Came on for an injured Viera. Took over as no.10, & Phillips moved back as a DM. Was very involved & added spark to our attack. I'm really starting to warm to him - such an inventive player.
Wood - what a game-changer of a substitution. Suddenly their CBs knew they were in a match. One was even thrown on his arse. Liked the instinctive goal too. Such a huge energy force to have available late in the game.
Grimes - did nothing of note with his 8 mins, but has that in common with most players coming on so late. He's supposed to be very skilled. I'm looking forward to seeing this. Sometime.

Enjoyable read as always. I also wanna see Roofe up top, that is the position he was signed for.

Did the Vieira injury look serious?

I'll be honest - I didn't see him go down, so not sure if there was contact or not. I don't think so, so worry it might be a hammy or something worse.

As for Roofe, I get the feeling they're trying to build his confidence, so unlikely to play him up front as a lone striker for now. As I've said, he would probably be better than Antonsson in that role, but we'll never know unless he gets a chance. He's probably be best with 2 up top - in fact I think all of our strikers are, but our midfield can't cope with just the 4, as they've proved time after time.

So Antonsson plays for 71 minutes, in that time he doesn't get a single shot on or off target, het gets replaced by Wood who manages to put one away within 15 minutes...

I know what you mean Ristac, I went down with an heart attack when I heard Wood scored with his head, I woke up thinking I had a bad dream.....:emoticon-0105-wink:

We played 3 home matches in 8 days. Fans aren't all able to shell out a lot of money in such a short time without good reason. And Blackburn weren't a good reason. Not exactly a big draw, were they?
