And some of the defending was laughable as well. Edit - I wonder if AN will risk any of his regular first team squad (other than Basil) against the Toffees in the EFL cup
Should have added Igalho to that list. My point is here that it doesn't matter how much you spend on a striker, they still miss open goals, Redmond, Igalho and Austin in particular. We need to get off CJ's back, he works for the full 90 minutes with very little support.
Christ, it was a joke, jest, jibe, hooma! Am I the only one who can clearly see the at the end of my original comment?
I would expect Olsson and maybe Dorrans from Saturday's starters to be in the team with maybe Brady, Rusty, Howson and Jacob on the bench ?
Michael Bailey just posted this line up - which still manages to exclude Naismith. Not saying it's what he thinks or wants, but just to show the depth of the squad. Whittaker at LB would scare the **** out of me! please log in to view this image
Very interesting if Naismith is excluded and I'm guessing we'll take another BIG loss on him come January. I think they'd enough quality in the team to at least make a good game.
Whittaker selling programmes or making tea scares the s+*t out of me Cromer. The team above actually resembles what I was going to put into the prediction league only with Whittaker at RB and Olsson at LB. Dorrans maybe in midfield alongside Mulumbu maybe to give a bit of experience in that area. We do have a strong squad when you look at it like this.
Maybe he could use the same one that Naismith appears constrained by as he ambles and shuffles around the pitch?
I have never got on his back for this very reason, not even in the PL. It was clear, and still is, that this is his level and for as long as he puts in a 90 minute shift I will never have a bad word for him
I have. I was playing darts on a Tuesday night and the pub we were playing in had sky sports news on, and just as I was throwing a reporter came on saying "Cameron Jerome had missed a sitter". It put me right off and I may have said a couple of bad words about him then! Bah!
I lie awake at night worrying about this! He has to negotiate getting to the corner shop without incident. Then there is worrying about whether he will actually come back with teabags or not, oh God then there is the milk to think of. Oh, good grief he then has to negotiate a kettle!!!!!!!! Then there is cups, mugs and teaspoons - this can only end in abject tragedy for all of us!
