Post by Pinkie made me think. Who are your favourite ever Arsenal players? (I guess a lot of this depends on your age) not who was best, but your favourites.

Mine:

1: Paul Merson
2: Robert Pires
3: Tony Adams
4: Dennis Berkamp
5: Thierry
6: Freddie
7: Santi
8: Steve Williams
9: Lee Dixon
10: Perry Groves

I'd be interested in your thoughts, especially with the age you started watching. I went to every home game and many away from about 86, also less so now as I have kids.

1.Bergkamp
2.Henry
3.Pires
4.Adams
5.Vieira
6.Seaman
7.Fabregas (I know, I know)
8.Eduardo :(
9.Rosicky
10.Ozil

I gotta be honest.. Cant stand Paul Merson. Any affection I had for him has gone as the guy just chats too much ****.

1. Henry
2. Berkamp
3. Adams
4. Pires
5. Wright
6. Seaman
7. Keown
8. Dixon
9. Lehmann
10. Vieira

You started going around the same time as me and we would have seen the same group of players in that George Graham era. So some of mine are the same as yours. Good shout with Steve Williams too :)

I started going to Highbury in 1984/85, and regularly home and away from 86 up until around 92

so here goes:

1. Patrick Vieira
2. David Rocastle
3. Thierry Henry
4. Dennis Bergkamp
5. Marc Overmars
6. Paul Merson
7. Feddie Ljungberg
8. Robert Pires
9. Ray Parlour
10. Paul Davis

Notable absentees would be:

Brian Marwood
David Seaman
John Lukic
Kenny Sampson
Mickey Thomas
Charlie Nicholas
Viv Anderson
Lee Dixon
Alan Smith
Tony Adams
Ian Wright

Henry (amazing player, had it all
Viera (the engine room and heart of our greatest team)
Adams
Pires
Bergkamp
Seaman
Petit
Fabregas
Ozil
Ljungberg

(Difficult not to fit these in as well)
Bould
Sanchez
Winterburn
Dixon
Wright

Crikey forgot marwood. He replaces Dixon. Wright was a toughie should replace my jokey Perry.

Remember the chant 'We've got Brian, Brian Marwood on the wing, on the wing. BRIAN, BRIAN MARWOOD, BRIAN MARWOOD ON THE WING !!'

Aye, one of my proudest moments starting that at one game. 1 of only 2 times I've started a chant up.

I used to be a noisy **** on the North Bank and regularly started up chants. My favourite was 'Somebody give me an A !'
