With the possible team we could/should put out we should not be beaten by the likes of Newcastle so easily.....something is not right. They had 29 shots not 8/10. I was genuinely positive after the recent purchases but we are shown footage of so called strikers scoring goals for their clubs when they come to us and then stuck in midfield. Atacking midfielders trying to do holding jobs, central midfield players playing wide when we have wide players available. so yes maybe JFH is losing the players.

He is dour and negative....WHY? I dont know but I have not seen him smile or be positive in an interview. .........that seems to be the only thing that is rubbing off on the team......

Unfortunately, I really have lost interest as I have wanted us to play two upfront for years....it is more attacking and usually makes for a better game and it is the only way I believe we can fit all our better players in the team. You never know but we may get a result today................

No. It's a league full of mediocrity including us. We'll play above ourselves at times and smash Leeds and look great and other times play below ourselves and lose to Preston just like about 18 other teams. Hysteria over every negative result is unnecessary.

When you get smashed 0-6 at home by a freshly relegated team, a little hysteria is justified imo

There's a negative result and then there's getting slaughtered at home 0-6 when it could easily have been double figures.
But hey......

We were crap but Newcastle were excellent. Chances are we'll narrowly lose today to a good team away and the same doom-mongers will be out. If we get something, there will be little praise.

It doesn't matter to some people if it's a 6-0 or an unlucky 1-0. Some people just like to be negative. Some want Ferdinand/Hasselbaink to fail so they can say they were right to doubt them IMO

If they win today, it would be a great show of character to come back from a crushing defeat. Can't see it happening, but this team have the ability to surprise as the Cardiff result showed. I'm more concerned about the performance to be truthful.

I feel for those of you who still pay money to watch the boring dross served up by post-Warnock QPR teams. Presumably it's simply force of habit or the prospect of seeing friends at the ground that cause you not to give up.

Thinking about the thread title..................I'd say we're definitely going somewhere.......................league 1!!

Agreed, Jimmy from a fans perspective, doesn't show much happiness / positive approach but may be different within the team.

We should be playing two up front.
He's was a forward for crying out aloud, yet he seems to lack the desire to promote an attacking positive team. It seems to be negative stuff.

I was hoping by this stage , he'd have a good base to work from and be building forward.
I'm not seeing anything positive moving forward....... Is it just me?

Neil Warnock came into the club. It was not his team yet he managed to motivate. Football wasn't great I will admit but we grounded out results. Never would NW have allowed our team to surrender so easily.
Has that enlightened you?
Yes thank you. In future can we have suggestions as well or instead of simple dislikes of particular managers? I agree 110% about Warnock and the intelligentsia on here were very quick to condemn after a run of unlucky poor results. Were you at the game yesterday?

Good shout. There is a world of difference between the way Huddersfield play and the way do. Doesn't necessarily mean anything at this stage of the season (as Barnsley and Newcastle found out yesterday) but at least it's a constructive contribution to the debate.

What are you, the bloody thread monitor or something?

I dread to think what the question is if Colin ****er is the answer.

Who is a cheap caretaker manager who says he has 'one more season' in him and walked away from a contract with another club on those grounds.

I think you can take what Colin Says with a very large jar of salt. What he has Done as a Manager of many Football Clubs, latest end of last season at Rotherham, and with us, should be taken very seriously by TF and his Board.

We should have respect for Colin.
He got us promoted and we played some good attacking football under him.
He did okay in the Prem (i recall an away win at Everton with a Smith goal) until TF lost his bottle.
He came back after Benny ruined us and steadied the ship until his last win at Reading.
Once again he was pushed out.
The answer to the question was who has did more for our club Hughes,Ramsey,JFH or Neil Warnock?

Alec Stock did more than any of them. Must have another season in him.
