Those are two entirely different things.

Most of the people I knew, growing up as a kid in Haringey in the early 70s, said (what, with hindsight, were) the most despicably racist slurs, not believing them to be racist, because that was how most of the white folks tended to speak about the (predominantly) West Indian families that lived there. Most of the white kids at my school never intended to be racist, but the things that were said were very often racist, by today's standards. The fact that we have, by and large, stamped that out demonstrates that those things were wrong.

Whether or not you intend to be racist does not necessarily mean that what you say isn't racist.

No, they are not.

Either you are ******ed (which I believe you are), in which case my comment is not an insult but an accurate description of your mental state; or you are not ******ed, and I am being merely insulting.

You, however, in calling Spurlock Danish are making a direct attack on both his race (I don't know if Spurlock is of Asian or African descent) and his religion, by drawing attention to the fact that Muslims do not eat pork; and you are using that fact by way of insult to differentiate him from those of us (including yourself, I suspect) who is not a Muslim.

Actually I'm bhudist whatever that has to do with the price of fish. I also don't know where he comes from nor care butbi suspect he's British. I look to score no points on colour, creed or sexual orientation.

if my nickname for him offended him I of course would apologise but I think he knows this was not. So give it up because a) you'll not get a ban for me it piskie as is you're intention.

You should use your time here learning from people like me and not use offensive insults in a vain attempted to gain some misguided sense of kudos.

From the responses I can see that HIAG is playing the faux outrage card about abuse.

Somebody should remind him that he got pulled up several times for calling people Autistic as a slur.

I've had him in meltdown for 36 hours, in that time he's requested forum bans for you & me <laugh> he's been going around being really abusive calling all and sundry 'twats' etc. Hilarious:emoticon-0140-rofl:

Whilst doing my bit for Queen and country I had a very good West Indian buddy, with a Scottish accent who would go ape shlt at being called Jock telling us to call him " chalky " and saying in no uncertain terms that his nickname was of his making and the only people offended by others calling him Chalky were the politically correct ethnically white luvvie brigade telling him and his friends that the name he chose to be called by is wrong, which explains what is equally so wrong with the modern PC luvvie nanny state who also think nothing of banning both the Union and George flags from their loonie left town halls as they are offensive !
What I'm trying to say Hiag is Mark did NOT mean to infer any form of racism and our Good friend Spurlock did not appear to be offended ?
As for myself, I would be more offended if you called me a ****** than King Dong !! <laugh>

I have an Asian wife and two sons of mixed origin and I'm not being intimidated by some jumped up 63 yr old junior conveyancer who lives out his fantasys on a football forum. Ban him.
