Isn't it a bigger one than than temporary one we had in the 2nd half of last season, so it'll be the same size as the old one (but better)
I wish they'd get rid of it, the match day experience was much more exciting without the big screen and its distractions.
It's going to be much larger than the tempory one and very slightly smaller than the previous one but much higher resolution. It's only distracting when you want to be distracted, hopefully that won't be the case this year. I quite like the "Welcome to the Valley" film although it can be depressing comparing the past with the present. Also I get the feeling I might need it to identify Charlton players for a while!
I agree with..fiiiiiiisssshhhh worth it for that alone....and for seeing us beat palaceagain and again
I'm sure I read somewhere it's meant to be bigger than any previous screen we've had and a far greater definition too, will do my eyesight a wonder of good from the north upper! I too will also need it to recognise players given I was under the impression Alonso was playing in the 2nd half at Welling
It was so much better last season without it, kept going wrong and the fish stuff is just an irritation. I'd rather watch the players than the on-screen sideshow. Remove it.
Ah yes the screen distracted me from admiring McCormack's silky skills, and made me miss Dailly's latest red card...
I think the screen is a great addition. Even if its there just as a reminder that gone are the days when the board couldnt even afford to repair a screen. Plus the kids in the family section love the fish, surely its worthwhile just for that!
Fiiisshhher boy loves the big screen at the Valley
