Thanks for posting Bunmahon. I know where to bring my customers when they ask for a nice hotel.

By the way, I was on Bunmahon beach earlier this Summer. Gorgeous spot.

I recently watched the movie Brooklyn and liked the tranquility of this Irish beach scene

Fair play to TF he certainly puts his money (or borrowed money) where his mouth is. Good luck to him.....

Nice to see someone coming forward to develop the Ormond, it's been an eyesore for the past few years and is in an improving part of town, under the watchful eye of U2's Clarence on the other side of the river

I thought staying at U2's Clarence would provide me with the ultimate hotel experience. But, I have to say, I still haven't found what I'm looking for. :)

Are you sure you found the right hotel? I heard it is where the streets have no name.

N'ah, it's on One Tree Hill, I heard the entrance was a revolving door that's broken, and you're Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of, but there's an Unforgettable Fire in the foyer which is Even Better Than The Real Thing....

Heard it's the place to be seen on New Years Day.....

My knowledge of U2s oeuvre is mercifully limited, but I assume there are lots of references to their dittys in there.

My favourite U2 related thing is the film It Might Get Loud, where Jimmy Page, Jack White and The Edge (Mind the Gap!) spend time jamming and gassing. Jimmy and Jack (who builds a one string electric slide guitar out of junk in 3 minutes) can play whatever they want and however they want. Edgeworth is stranded without his effects pedals.
