Just back... what can i say about that.
Firstly Newcastle were class and have a team full of quality. I think if we had lost 3-0, I could have taken that and said well done to the Geordies.
However...............................................
Our performance was simply not good enough. Crap control, players switching off, lazy passes, crap defending and a manager standing there like a muppet with no emotion. The Clark goal summed up how crap our defending is.
What happened to the high pressing game, the hassling,the fit players he promised? The only team I saw hassling was Newcastle and that was even in the last 5 minutes. Our muppets couldn't even take the ball out of the goal at one point.
No excuses now this is Jimmy's Team! remember he brought in Washington and Nasser.
Washington at £3m and yet to score, what a waste of money!
Jimmy's had long enough to move things forward and he has not. We couldn't even beat Preston and Blackburn ffs! We are going backwards.
Strikers He has had enough time to sort that but we have once and failed to recruit.
Anyone who plays Washington up front on his own needs their head tested.
Chump should never have been made captain.
Please don't tell me it's too early or see where we are after 10 games! all you are doing is prolonging our agony. He won't make us any better. I heard the same last season with "wait until he gets his own team"? Well he has and he has broken a home record for a defeat.

No need to wait till Christmas, do it now before it's too late, shuffle everything, what do we have to lose? It's the worst home defeat in history. Need we need to feel any more pain than that?
Hasselbaink is out of his depth and he has no idea what managing a team means at this level.

Hard to disagree with any of that ELLERS. I'm not quite in the "Jimmy Out Brigade" yet but I am getting there slowly. I will give him another half a dozen games to turn things around.

FFS I don't often bite but this is just so very boring now and as history has proven to us all it's not purely the team managers or coaches fault, no it's the clubs fault for it's lack of structure and mismanagement over the years. Come on admit it, how has this knee jerk quick fix pattern of sacking managers really benefited us much over the last ten years or so?

It will always be a massive hindrance to us as most decent players, also coaches would see our lack of a plan A and or structure, nobody would take us seriously and think of QPR as somewhere they could go and enjoy or improve their game of football.

I had become very cynical about and also detached from QPR due to the farcical and often Eastender's script worthy way it had become, but with news of the training complex now and the summer transfer window I can feel a pulse in QPR's veins again at last. For sure it's not a strong one yet but at last it feels like the correct medicine has been found, it just needs a little time to take full effect like any treatment does. I feel better and much less pessimistic about the future of our club

I just feel another managerial change at this stage would be a huge nail in the future of QPR's coffin. When something is broken there will often be pain until it's fixed or gets better, I'm willing to brave some of that for the better future of our beloved QPR!

Any of you that are in the JFK out camp then fair play, we will just have to agree to disagree on this one as I see it as more damaging to our club in the long term.

I am sure not all of but many of our fired mangers would and could have done so much better if they were not up against things like lack of money, unbalanced and half loaned to us for a year squads. Then megalomaniac interfering control freak owners who though QPR was a restaurant in W12.

We then suddenly have money to spend and pay well over the odds for the so called prem players that all other club steered well clear of. You can understand why most of them looked disinterested and did not really show up for QPR, they must have thought it was a joke with our non existent and so desperately needed infrastructure and p!ss poor facilities, felt hard to take the club seriously.

I put us down for mid table mediocrity in the season predictions thread and will stick to that, yes that sucks and I always want much better for our club but we need this as a foundation laying year. Without it it's just making the flames that need putting out stronger imo, B"llox to more of that I say!

I do, unless we get in trouble at the wrong end of the league. Les and Tone are loyal and supportive of their appointees to a fault, and I don't think they are expecting much this season - witness Les' frequent comments about foreign players taking 18 months to settle in.

Like I said on the match three last night, I don't want Jimmy Fraud out. I want Jimmy Fraud, Les Fergoodnesssake and Tony Fertheloveofgod out. Tony's had five years to get this right and I see little evidence that he's learned a great deal. All this infrastructure stuff is of course vital, but he's got to get his managerial selection right too.

Undoubtedly not a hugely popular choice for many, but I'd put Steve Bruce in yesterday if I had the opportunity.

Look, fair play to that Col .I never have or won't pretend to be any expert on formations or our best starting 11, what I will not budge an inch on right now this early in the season is the tried tested and failed sack the manager bandwagon. If a manager is not doing a good job then shall we sit and watch the team collapse and go down or should question it?
Let's take this seasons results with a JFH team, (it's his team now). We lost to Preston and drew with Blackburn. (both performances were dire and anyone who says they weren't should watch Rugby). We let a 2-1 lead slip at Barnsley (which on paper isn't the end of the world but the way we collapsed is worrying). The games we have won Leeds,Cardiff,Wigan are all lower table teams. Last night Newcastle were class but team selections/tactics and players not being up for it again is worrying.
Never have i seen us give up like that at home. Even when we lost to Arsenal in that cup game our players tried. Arsenal were full of world class players and we had infearior ones but i remember staying to clap them off.
Do i think we have progressed under JFH? No we actually look worse than when Ramsey was in charge of players who didn't want to be at the club.
I have read post in the past saying 'it's not his team', 'give it 10 games'? It is his team now, no excuses.
Do i have an answer? Not really because although i have never been in the JFH camp i do want stability but with the right person and he isn't that person.
This will only end one way and i am not going to sit on the fence and not say anything.

Do we really want to continue to spiral of short termism? Below is a list of all our managers since the turn of the century, count them up, there's 19 of them...we're getting through 1 and a bit managers a year, in fact 17 of them have been since 2006 when Holloway left., only Warnock and Redknapp lasted more than 12 months.

What we have now is the result of short term thinking and stupid spending. Last night was a bad day at the office, there may be more bad days before they get better, but getting rid of JFH is not the answer......

If for no other reason than hoping for some much needed stability at our club I want to find some small fault with this analysis but I can't. Add to it the unbelievable cock-up last night of leaving Shelvey without a man-marker in the second half despite the way he was dictating the game and you have a coach who quite simply doesn't seem to know the basics. I'm not sure there is anything to lose by biting the bullet now.

I think he'll get until Christmas at least, and even then I think he'll only go if we are in a relegation dogfight. BFH needs a response for the next game, starting with a clean sheet and some semblance of a organised defence - maybe even a goal scored in open play.

I'd stick for now, although my suspicion that Rowett was the brains behind Burton's rise are looking less like speculation.
