I still see little evidence of tactical astuteness, nor an eye for authentic rough diamond to fashion into a world beater. Nevertheless, he can get away with it as long as we keep grinding out the results.

How do you do that against the worst team in our division??????

JFH was a striker. Sort of sets his team up front half but forgets about the back. So typical. Needs to learn to defend!

Out! Out!

JFH has only just laid the foundations, when was the last time we had just that. Let him now lay a few bricks,oh also some of that black stuff on a roll...

we will have something solid to work with for once, not the mish mash our unbalanced squad had become of late!

Need a little more time!

Bump....

Right if you want to have a meltdown do it here, but do not get into personal slanging matches, keep to the facts, do not be offensive to other posters if their view differs from your own.......

As I listen to boos ring around Loftus Road after listening online, it has already been suggested that 'Jimmy out' needs to be considered on the matchday thread. Do we really think we'd get anyone else in? Surely we want to stop the run we have had of short term managers who have had no time to build anything before they have been moved on.

Jimmy needs to be given time to build something, and work hard to improve what he has got at the moment. Officially our worst ever league home defeat so it is disgraceful, but does that warrant 'Jimmy out'?

Who better could we get in, and where would that leave us for the rest of this season? A squad put together by a manager who has been sent packing doesn't help anyone. That said, I am in Paris listening on the radio, so can't fully grasp just how bad it was.

Dave I'm merging this with the ongoing JFH Out thread.....

Thankyou. I have been flat out at work and missed that the discussion has already been started...and is in full flow.

Agree with others that Jimmy needs to lay foundations and build something new, but he has now had almost a year and we just got spanked at home. Still just don't see anyone better that we could get it.

IMO we've had so many short termism managers over the last 6 or 7 years that it doesn't work........the problem is that these days it's all about the now and with 24 rolling news, internet forums such as this, there's no place for pragmatism, no patience, it's all instant success.

To get rid of him now would be a mistake, we are a mid table side.......yes we got truly humped tonight by a side that will probably win the division by 15 points......but having said that the side he sent out tonight was just so negative it was beaten before kick off........ffs as Col said on the match day thread, play your best side and give it a right good go, we may still have lost but not in the humiliating way we did.........to send out that sort of side rightly pisses the fans off who pay good money to be entertained, not watch your side just roll over and have their tummies tickled.......

JFH has got to up his game and get a side playing with pace, passion, skill and tactics..........it may get worse before it gets better.

I'm not suggesting we should get rid right now but in regards to who else we could get in? Steve Bruce is available (excellent Championship record) Pulis might be available very soon, I'd take Holloway back, Hoddle would be fantastic and knows TF and the club. There's always an alternative.

Not Pulis. Would honestly rather go down.

if I thought Jimmy would learn from this result I'd give him more time. Sadly we'll play 1 up front and have players out of position at Huddersfield and another drubbing awaits

Think Mark Hughes might be available soon.

Norway, wash your mouth out...............that's almost as bad as suggesting Kneecap.

Yeah, like picking your favourite deciese.

I would like stability for the time being. As long as there is so little investment in the playing staff it doesn't make to big a difference who's in charge. We lack leaders and have appointed a weak captain. Those type of players don't come cheap and are sought after, we're sadly not in a position to either attract them or can afford them. Our only hope is that some of the youngsters brought in can grow into such a role. And that will take time.
