Robbie is a fine young keeper in my opinion and will only get better and better. If he joined West Ham for example and claims the No1 jersey then he could be a Premiership goalkeeper in a year's time.
With a lack of real English goalkeeping talent in this country, then I see no reason why he can't play for England - that is how much I rate him. I would be made up for him and feel very proud if that happened - although I would rather it didn't happen with West Ham!
But to suggest that he is not good enough for League 1 is unbelievable in my opinion. At times, he has pulled off some of the most amazing saves - world-class saves!
With the right training, he could hone his skills and really go places. I wish him well.
I can't see a single post on here suggesting he's not good enough for L 1 but neither is he too good for the club. I think the whole argument gets muddled with the fact he's a Charlton fan, that's great but doesn't mean he's any better than the other 2 goal keepers. He's made some great saves but also his positioning at times is suspect and I wasn't at the Millwall game. I don't think he'd make much of an impact at a higher level.
