Yes Cromer - overall, an excellent article, but I agree with one of the comments on there in that I feel Pritchard will become a pivotal player for the club, as apart from the Blackburn game, Wes has not been the player he was.
Also, I've just read this from Aberdeen's game against Inverness Caley - "In the end, it was his partner in crime, McGinn, that made the vital breakthrough with a fine curling effort, while James Maddison perhaps provided more bright spots."

True, but he says something like 'an extravagant £8m luxury we didn't really need' which given the posturing and fighting talk by AN about additional strikers a week before the window closed is very true - and not correctly prioritising our (limited) transfer budget, imo. <ok>

I've listened to pundits etc discussing this, most seem to think theres nothing wrong with it. i disagree:

Firstly. these are grown men not school kids!
Secondly. I worry that this behaviour could easily get out of hand, with people rushing to the front, falling over seats and getting injured or injuring those around them.
Thirdly. Part of above, I don't want to return to the days of fans behaving badly and getting injured.
Fourthly. (not sure thats actually a word)? Surely players and managers have a responsibility to behave in a reasonable and sensible way?

Kind of disagree.

They had Big Sam. The master of those games. If our team played a Moyes Sunderland at the same stage. I think we would have won.

Sam has always known how to win a fight.

Well I disagree back. Knowing the size and stature of that game, and rolling over and showing a soft underbelly to a crap team like Sunderland was inexcusable, especially given what was at stake.
Once the whistle goes, all the gaffer can do is point, shout instructions, chew gum (vigorously) and make substitutions.
They were up for it - we were nowhere in sight ...when our entire campaign depended on it <grr>

...........Yea, and in that battle like scenario, Big Sam pretty much over comes all! He gets his teams frantic for cup finals!

Moyes, in comparison, I think would offer nothing to such a massive pressure game.

I stand by my point.
 
Could be an interesting game at the Amex tonight when Brighton play Huddersfield.
Newcastle seem to have bounced back from their 2 opening defeats and I'll be very surprised if they don't get automatic promotion
 
Wet bloody Sham are at it again, requesting better stewarding and a police presence at their new stadium after continued outbreaks if trouble.
What's wrong with putting your hand into your corporate pockets and actually paying for extra protection rather than assuming they're entitled to it at taxpayers expense?
Makes my blood boil, freeloading basstards <grr> <doh>

I thought that as well and I'm sure E20 or whoever pwns the stadium could easily increase the peppercorn rent Wet Sham are having to pay.
They don't even have to pay for lighting or maintenance in the deal that the ex Porn Baron negotiated!!!! :mad:
