I'm backing Water Wagtail at Worcester in the hope that he will improve for the drop in trip and the last run -stable form has been very good and the jockey seems her go for guy
Toffee Apple @ 8/1 3:30 Brighton First ever runner from the Keith Dalgleish barn to make the 443 mile journey to Brighton, Jim Crowley booked to ride. Good Luck
looked at that but too many ifs and buts for me -Crowley rides the course well and dalgleish is a canny operater who is firing the winners -low grade adverseries who blow hot and cold -but most of this horse best form is on long stiff uphill finish - is Brighton long enough and will the camber play a part for a horse unfamiliar with it -they've come a long way to find out -so good luck mate !
Finished 4th over C/D back in April when trained by Ed Dunlop. Heading into town with my wheelbarrow ETA 1p.m. Interview with Keith Dalgliesh ahead of Ayr later this week
Does seem a long way to go so I'm on ew, and will double up with RAMBLOW in the 2.20 7/1 for TOFFEE and 2/1 to place. RAMBLOW 9/4 and 1/2 to place.
Listowel 5.10-Fiddlers Bow win 7/2. Finally broke his duck the other day at Cork and 5lb looks lenient enough especially as the shorter trip should benefit the old boy.
Pocket talk but that was a fecking ****e ride there on RAMBLOW. I'll just let my horse drift left up the backsides of the others and then give up. Maybe the cambur of the course is to blame.
Jealika 9/2 has conditions to favour today and aims for a follow up win from last year at Listowel's harvest festival in the 3.00. Expect a late rattle home under Shane Foley.
Jose Echegaray 4/1 next up In Listowel. Showed a fondness for conditions when well fancied and winning his 3rd start at Sligo, he could prove hard to head here.
Sgt Reckless has certainly regressed since his first few seasons racing. Racing in this average handicap at Worcester compared to running with Grade 1 animals previously.
Interesting little race at Worcester here - Mr Henderson runs former Cumani inmate Barkis after 1503 days absence
Yeah, thrilling finish. That Peter The Mayo Man looks useful, he won the division 1 race there, still ran a bit green and lazily but clearly is a good standard of horse.
Whatever your views on the jockey championship -you got to hand it to the two for providing a ding Dong battle -see that sds has ridden three winners tonight already - Crowley had two this afternoon so still has a few ahead but with a month to go plenty of turns to go
