Was he the one who was really slow off the blocks? Took him an age to get up to speed and then flew. The technique this double amputees have is stunning.

Yes that was him, he wasn't even in the frame when Whitehead crossed the line and Henson came through right at the death to get bronze. The technique looks quite bizarre and you wouldn't think that they would be able to generate the speed they do. It's fascinating to watch.

Just watching the men's doubles wheelchair tennis final. It's amazing. Stunning skill, incredible coordination between the pairs so they don't crash and just amazing stamina and strength. Just seen what must have been a 40 shot rally.

It's exceedingly good isn't it? No spoilers though please I'm watching it 19 mins behind on Sky pause.

Did I hear right that the two British blokes are contesting the singles final?

Must admit that I was favouring the older paunchy French bloke.

Yes you did. Reid beat the old paunchy French bloke Houdet in his semi-final and Hewitt beat the Belgian favourite in his. So it's a guaranteed gold and silver for team GB. I quite liked the commentary from Peter ' The Quadfather' Norfolk in the tennis. Totally biased and completely refreshingly un pc.

I think the QPR Dodgeball team might go well, however having said that, Dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge, and defend

The doubles tennis was amazing last night, the 45 year French guy whacking down 150km/h serves, the way they move their chairs around getting to seemingly impossible to unreachable shots, the coordination to avoid each other.........truly inspiring and the better players did win in the end.

The Paralympics are in a way more enjoyable to watch than the Olympics because it seems that actually taking part is more enjoyable than the winning...........

If you remember there were two serious crashes on the road race in the Olympics, the ladies race, was horrific and the cyclist who was leading broke her neck. The course was dangerous then.. and I understand they have removed that descent from the route, but still much of the other parts were very hard and dangerous too.

It is really sad for this to happen, the para-games were really catching the imagination after all the negative vibes beforehand... RIP
