Mourinho making his usual bullshit post-loss comments, complaining about the ref and trying to distract. It would be nice if he could find some class, at some point.
Fergie's the one that did it to distract people. He used it to take the pressure off the team and their performance, whereas Mourinho just went and railed against his players too just for the hell of it! If anything he's just taken the pressure off himself by throwing his players and the ref under the bus. Honestly, at this point it makes more sense that he's completely deluded rather than some genius using the media to his advantage.
There can be no complaint about the result, but as the ref was Clattenberk, it would be ridiculous to say there was no complaint about the ref. He got a number of things wrong. Mourinho would be better remaining tight-lipped, but we know he's not going to do that. He is prone to being a petulant brat at times - but he's not alone. And the personality traits he has make him very competitive and successful. First defeat and it came in such an important game......it was never going to be easy for him to take. It was a reality check for everyone. Utd don't have a player like De Bruyne, who was the difference. But winning the title is about accumulating points - and Utd have a lot of strength and power, together with plenty of pace and some nous and experience. It's not always about whether you're good enough to beat your best opponents head to head, but whether you're consistently good enough to beat the rest. I have more confidence in this team doing that than the teams put out by previous managers since August 2013. There are plenty of reasons to think that most of the players involved will improve as they play together more often. I wouldn't write Utd off on the basis of yesterday's result.
Why stop there? He could be useful in helping us spirit Calleri from under the Scammers' noses next summer...
Given the chav traits in yer average Spanner DNA, no matter how much we detest Savage I would not want to increase the chances of death by Spanner supporter any more than his comments yesterday already have.
Costa got booked and scored a goal in another half that he shouldn't have been available for. I wonder what the ref's going to let him off in the second half?
Given the way that he plays, he's on a permanent virtual ban. The new rules about interactions with officials make it even worse.
English football needs more Diego Costas and less of the fannies that dive about in agony when the wind picks up.
As if to prove my point, Costa immediately rolls about and gets Amat booked. It's a clash of heads and the ref goes by the cheat's reaction.
