He was garbage. Misplaced simple passes and was outmuscled off the ball too easily. Rightfully hauled off at half time.

I have to say I didn't expect City to hold out in the second half, so they did well to not concede again. Otamendi and Stones were quite solid. I wonder if Kompany will walk straight back into the team once he's fit again?

Otamendi looked like a different player to the one that we're used to.
He's definitely improved since Guardiola took over.

Stones still doesn't convince me, though.
Looks particularly dodgy when balls come to him from height and lets them bounce too often.
 
ffs, I stuck a quid on Arsenal drawing, with Burnley, Bournemouth, Palace and Spurs all to win. Would've got me £160 :(

2 late injury time goals and I get nowt.

MUST get 6 points from the next two EPL matches, Sunderland and Middlesborough because City comes after and we mustn't fall too far behind. Spurs are well placed.
 
Praise be to Yevon that I dumped Mkhitaryan from my fantasy team two weeks ago.

How can someone go from being a goal and assist machine at Shakhtar and Dortmund to seemingly not knowing what a pass is? Who could possibly mismanage a player that badly in such a short space of time?

In other news, the Scammers were 2-0 up against Watford at the White Elephant and lost convincingly. Let's all laugh at them.

It might be recalled by some that I said before the second match of the season against Arsenal that if Leicester don't start winning soon the thrashings will follow because anxiety will start to set in. A 2-1 win at home hardly qualifies as a good win and now they're getting thrashed by an inconsistent Liverpool team who gave them a goal. Bad Leicester, BAD for you.
 
Strange so far although only 4 matches have gone. 1-1,1-0,1-1 0-4.This can only be viewed as a good performance if Spurs follow it against Sunderland and Middlesborough. If they go back to 1-0 or 1-1 then we will know that it was just a one off.

Utd v City? We can't judge too much on a local derby but I think the first signs showed that Mourinho is NOT the man for Utd.

Liverpool v Leicester speaks for itself and the other matches don't matter apart from maybe Arsenal who struggled today at home. Hats off to Lawrenson though who predicted a Palace win at Middlesborough, I didn't see it.

If Everton beat Sunderland then Spurs MUST strike while the iron's hot next weekend.

Just one game. Plus he's been playing in a Micky mouse league, hopefully he's not a Kagawa mk2 though.
