[HASHTAG]#THFC[/HASHTAG]: Lloris (C); Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies; Dier, Wanyama; Eriksen, Alli, Son; Kane. [HASHTAG]#COYS[/HASHTAG]

Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Carter-Vickers, Winks, Lamela, Sissoko, Janssen. [HASHTAG]#COYS[/HASHTAG]

Lamela dropped. - can only think that's due to international duty.
No place for wimmer on the bench, but there is for Carters-Vickers. - don't understand that one at all.
No place for GKN either.

Apparently, GKN needs a couple more week of training before he'll be ready.

He's probably still doing his medical.

I'm not convinced by our starting line up today and think we may struggle. Dier and Wanyama together hasn't convinced me at all as we struggle to get the ball forward and create anything. I think we're gonna badly miss Lamela's work rate, too.

Yep, Too defensive and not penetrative enough for me, I was hoping for a Dier Sissoko pivot.

I'd rather Wanyama over Dier, I think he's had the better start to the season. Not pleased by us sticking with the Wanyama-Sissoko midfield though.

Sissoko's on the bench, but I agree with what you meant. I'd have preferred Dier, though.

Vorm can be rightly pissed that he's been left out. Did very well against Liverpool.

Dier and Wanyama have hardly had a chance to develop their game together yet - just a couple of games as Walkers injury sent Eric to RB last time out. Doubt they will both play when Dembele returns.
Reckon we will see plenty of Sissoko and Lamela 2nd half when hopefully Stoke are getting tired.
