Wouldn't go that far, to be honest. If anything, United giving it more of a go will leave their defence exposed and it's only been their numbers at the back that has been keeping City from scoring many more.
Why does Bravo take so long to kick the damn ball? He keeps inviting pressure on himself. Rooney was rightly booked for the late challenge, but he was entitled to go for the ball when you're that bloody hesitant with it at your feet.
Half of what's wrong with PL officiating in a moment. Clattenburg misses a stone pen because he's not motivated and focused enough to be in position to see it. Rapid trips up and down the leagues for officials and he'd be more concerned with running and seeing than with fine tuning his tatoos and chatting with his pal Wayne.
I was wrong and everyone else was right about the momentum switching. Much more effective hoofball in the second half from United, aided by having an extra man in midfield and wingers that actually did something.

It's early days for him, but he'll have to adjust to the pace and pressure of the Premier League quickly.
I don't know how he got away with that in Spain, as he looked very, very shaky.

If they had a proper 'keeper between the sticks, or at least one that was less nervous, City would have been more comfortable defensively. United were creating some decent chances, but they weren't exactly peppering City's goal with shots. And some of the chances United had were a result of Bravo's indecisiveness.
Ibra, Pogba and Mikhitariyan were all pretty poor. Bailly didn't exactly cover himself in glory, either.

Last 20 minutes Citeh had so many 5/3 and 4/3 breaks but seemed to lack either commitment or ideas in the final third. Particularly Sane who had acres of space.

He was garbage. Misplaced simple passes and was outmuscled off the ball too easily. Rightfully hauled off at half time.
I have to say I didn't expect City to hold out in the second half, so they did well to not concede again. Otamendi and Stones were quite solid. I wonder if Kompany will walk straight back into the team once he's fit again?
