Just been for a sprint run. Pleasantly surprised by my motivation and the outcome given I was on the pop last night and only got a few hours kip.

I have to do it in the morning. If I don't go to the gym in the morning, I won't go. I usually go 4-5 days a week. And I normally have a couple of beers every night, but tell myself that I earned them by sweating my gonads off in the gym.

Works for me, I rarely get bladdered though. Feel like **** for 2-3 days afterwards if I do...

I've set myself a target to achieve a running time that I last did 10 years ago. The difference is I am now training towards it and will probably call it quits once I've done it whereas it used to be a 3-4 time a week workout!

That's for the longer distance, the time for the shorter distance is absolutely no longer achievable! <laugh>

I've got literally **** all on tonight after 6 days of heavy workload... and have just realised my Sky box has been recording every episode of X Files for the last 6 months and has got to mid-series 6... so I'm cherry picking my favourite episodes and watching those.

Good luck mate <ok>
