I know people who have entered fr**m**on** and progressed to extremely secret organisations. I can't say to much on here but the stuff they do is mind blowing. Related to interdimensional beings and astral travel.

That first one is the one I was talking about. There's a channel on Youtube called top5s, which does collections of reports and stories for beginners, for anybody who is interested.

Indeed. Top 5 creepiest videos / ghost footage / disappearances etc are a good watch. The elevator girl is perhaps the creepiest of all.

The last one is the elevator girl. There's a tonne of stuff about her online. This vid is a good place to start.

The flash of light and dispersion of the noise is scary. Only when you hear the rain do you realise how loud the noise had been.

Yeah didn't she wind up dead about 10 seconds after the footage end? Is that the one?

My Grandpa (sadly passed away in 2009 - a lifelong Hull City fan since 1921 and a former military man) was a freemason and he once told me that if I ever joined, it would change my life in ways even the richest men could only dream about. Which was weird because he never spoke like that, ever. He caught my Dad listening to a speech he was practising in the mirror and gave him a massive bollocking, "it's not for you to hear, if they ever found out etc". My Dad didn't dare go near it after that, even after he was invited to join. I never saw it as a sinister organisation, maybe that's because they've done a lot for my family, I don't really know.

    Some theories...

Masonry is indeed intriguing. Any more you can remember, Sterling? Also, thoughts on Denver Airport, anyone?

I can tell you the 'normal' masons lodge is purely a gateway. Some stay at the first three degrees and enjoy it as a meeting, eating and drinking place. If you decide to progress further you can. But there are certain 'groups' even if you are a fully fledged mason you can only join by invitation. One particular group has only 12 meeting places in the UK. One of them is in East Yorkshire. Members travel from Scotland and all over the North of England to attend this secret group in the East Riding.

About Masonry? Only bits and bobs. There was (unsurprisingly) a heavy presence at my Grandpa's funeral and I was with my Grandmother and a couple of them came over and simply said "if there's anything you ever need, no matter how urgent or insignificant, call us." Which seemed really nice as my Grandmother was housebound in her final few years. But it was weird, they didn't even acknowledge me, even though I was about a foot away from them it was like they'd blocked me out (which I bet a lot of people wish they could do) and it just felt really eerie. I think Grandma said he was pretty high up in the local government, he must've been about 80 at the time, so goodness knows what happened to him since.

Also, my Grandmother got rid of a lot of his masonry related stuff shortly after he died, she really didn't like him going to it (I only learned this a few years ago) and she said it wasn't something she wanted to keep in the house. She was an incredibly smart woman and very perceptive, so I trust her judgement but she had a point, from everything I've experienced it does seem rather odd.

If you really get into it , it can demand a lot of your time and money. It does take you away from your wife and family.

He lived in North Ferriby, the Lodge of St. Andrew according to my Dad (instantly followed by "why are you asking about that?"). I assume that's somewhere in Hull?

I think a lot of emergency service people are, the bloke that used to live next door to me was in it and he's pretty high up in Humberside Fire and Rescue.

You hear weird stories like stuff about the Hellfire Club and you just dismiss it but a lot of the secrecy makes you wonder what exactly they get up to.

Yes, the building is on Beverley Road. The building hosts several lodges. The 'Lodge' doesn't refer to the building, it refers to the group of men who are meeting. Hence you can have many lodges in one building. St Andrew being one of several lodges in that building.
