All about LUMIERE tomorrow - 4/1 a massive price getting 3lbs from the Fav! It will take a near Grp 1 performance from Nemoralia to beat her tomorrow based on that! LUMIERE to trounce the field tomorrow

May I ask why you are so keen on Lumiere? She has flopped twice this year and the one she won was the group race I've ever seen.
I could be wrong and she might have come right for this but at 4/1 she looks way too short.

4/1 ew great bet! IMO she is to me like Regal Encore is to Stick!! But she has the potential it just a case of what horse wil turn up and to back an odds on shot against this field is crazy IMO who yes is still unexposed but she is unproven where are LUMIERE she gets close to last season form (which she has showed she still possesses) she will be hard to beat and to get weight she won't have a better chance to win a group race

Given there's only seven in the field and a case could be made for most of them I couldn't have her each way.

Her two year old form gives her great chance but to me I can't say she has trained on. Her win at Newmarket flattered her greatly as only three of them have won this year, one won a maiden, General MacArthur won a 0-90 race and the other won a few on the all weather over the winter. Most of what she will take on tomorrow have run good races this year at listed/group 3. She has to beat more than Nemorialia in this.

That is true! That's why odds on the Fav is shocking if I was in to laying I would lay her all day!! the market says this race is all about Nemorialia but it's really not!

I can see what you mean! But it wasn't the race she won it was the style and hands and heel ride never really off the bridle! And that proved she stil has it in her! You don't win the chevley park from being an avg horse Which is why the confidence the 7f will suit her to a tee and conditions will suit her too and for horse who needs a lot of things right she will get it and can't be over looked easily even with her two performances due to the talent she has

I agree that Nemorialia is too short. Lumiere is not for me, she has too many questions to answer in my view. But best of luck with your bet on her.

She's going to bolt up now just to put me in my place.<laugh><laugh><laugh>

I'd be amazed if Nemoralia gets more than a few shakes of the reigns to beat them lads.

Definitely can see the opinion of taking her on but I would be happy to see her run and win and not get involved so good luck Wooly.

It is difficult to summon up much enthusiasm for many of the Friday races at Doncaster.

In the Listed race at 4:15, I find it hard to make a case for Majoris as I think he was thoroughly exposed at Sandown last time in the Solario and this slight drop in class does not offer a much easier prospect. The other son of Frankel, Red Bloom’s son Senator does have solid claims and victory here probably will go to him or one of Salsabeel and Taamol.

There seem to be a lot of short-priced favourites from the Stoute yard running in handicaps this week and enough of them will be turned over to keep the bookies happy. So I am going to oppose a Charlton hotpot that won last time on the polytrack at Kempton (i.e. worthless form on turf) and go with another horse seeking a hat-trick in the Sandown 4:40 – UNISON won comfortably three weeks ago and has been raised 8lb but I think the six year old can complete a course and distance treble. I backed the third that day so I will probably end up watching the runner-up Outback Ruler reverse the form as the claimer gives him a 15lb pull for just under four lengths.

Done the exact same! Which will either be a good thing or a complete blowout! <laugh> was well fancied for the nunthorpe but just couldn't cope with them! With apart from the Fav doesn't look any more competitive than his Goodwood win so fully expect him to do the same

SENATOR and MAJORIS take each other on in the Listed Flying Scotsman Stakes at Doncaster this afternoon. This is the same race that Frankel won in 2010 by 13 lengths when it was still a Conditions Race.

According to Hugo Palmer MAJORIS hated the soft ground last time out and they believe Listed class is his level based on his 7-length nursery win previously.

SENATOR has had to be taught to settle, much like his father, and connections are confident he will get further with time providing he keeps his cool.

I think Regal Encore was stick's cliff horse - I don't recall ever backing the beast.

Whilst I'm interested in Doncaster for the competition, my money is heading for Sandown and Chester.

Like the look of Silverrica in the 2.20 at Sandown.
At the same venue, the JC vs SDS sub plot is also drawing me towards City Limits ( 2.55 ) and Haggle ( 3.30 ).

At Chester, there's a couple of interest with the Nortonizer on board.
The pick for me is Thomas Cranmer in the 2.40.

Enjoy your day and Good Luck to all who play :emoticon-0105-wink:
