    But they will.

More and more of the component parts are already coming in from overseas to be assembled here using a Japanese Just in time delivery system known as Kanban. Every year the % of the car manufactured here has declined. When the German major shareholders say we are moving the last little bits to Euroland that will be the end of that.

Good news the workforce can all go work for rolls Royce instead... Oh wait a minute, who owns rolls Royce.

    1) The Lower State of Saxony was established by the British Occupation Administration (a so-called "appointed parliament") on 9th December 1946.
Of economic significance for the state was the Volkswagen concern, that restarted the production of civilian vehicles in 1945,under British management.

    2) Porsche automobli shareholders

    VW AG 52% (see above)
    Shareholders 2% or more include
    The Vanguard Group, Inc. (Amercian)
    Norges Bank Investment Management (Norwegian)
Coronation Asset Management (Pty) Ltd. (South African)
    BlackRock Fund Advisors (American)
Lyxor International Asset Management SAS (French)
Amundi Asset Management SA (Investment Management) (French)
State Street Global Advisors Ltd. (American)
Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co. LLC (British)
    THEAM SAS (French)

    3) German institutional Investors - take your pick - I have a pension with them <ok>

    4) 9.3% of private investors - At least 170 of these are American as that is the number of lawsuits there is against VW by private investors and Germany does not allow for class-action lawsuits

    5) I can count to 50 in 4 languages (including German) <ok>

    Not true <doh>

“The UK automotive manufacturing sector has grown dramatically over the past few years and now employs 169,000 people, including many skilled EU nationals recruited to fill vacancies which the local labour force could not meet.
British car manufacturing hit a 16-year high in the first half of 2016 with almost 900,000 cars rolled off production lines at UK factories in the first six months of the year, 13% more than the same period in 2015."

You know absolutely nothing about the Company, they have always bought in the vast majority of parts, the selling point is made by hand,in Britain. It would be like buying a Saville Row suit made in China,no one would buy one.doh

Move it to Germany or say its German managed and those who buy them now will buy them then. Things change,... nobody would have bought a Skoda 15 years ago! See what VW did there.

Your blind faith is touching if the style and build quality stays the same people wont give a fock if John or Fritz build it. Knock a few grand of the price because of cheaper labour costs and they would shift even more. Don't need to know too much about Bently... its simple give the punters what they want at decent quality and price and they rip your arms off.

What have Nissan, Toyota, and Honda said about Brexit.
What did the Japenese trade minister say only last week.

"Leave the single market and we are off to the mainland".

You lot are truly dangerous in your cluelessness.

    Nissan
"The chief executive of Renault-Nissan has told the BBC he is "reasonably optimistic" that the UK will be an important partner with the European Union, despite its vote to leave.
Carlos Ghosn said Nissan is not ready to make decisions on plans for its Sunderland plant, which employs 6,700."

    Honda?
The same Honda that cut its production to 1 line in 2014 and axed 500 jobs?
Honda’s overall export volume is paltry. It exported just 51,385 vehicles to ALL global markets in the first five months of the year. That represents just 2.5 percent of its global output.

    Toyota
"It has never been the intention of Toyota to participate in the campaign and this has not changed.Toyota is committed to its factories and people in the UK as we are to our operations anywhere in the world."

    More bad news <whistle>

Britain has set up a new working group with India to help prepare for possible trade deals after Brexit has completed.
The UK can't agree trade deals with other countries until it has formally exited the EU, a process that could take years.
However, the government has said that won't stop it from preparing for the future.
"We have now concluded a deal to set up a trade working group with India to look at how we will remove barriers to trade before we negotiate a free trade agreement on our exit from the European Union."

This comes after Australian prime minister Malcolm Turnbull at last weekend's G20 summit said he unequivocally committed Australia to striking a "very strong" deal with the UK following the EU referendum.

This was swiftly followed by the news that Fox and his Australian counterpart, Steven Ciobo, had agreed the creation of a bilateral trade working group, with the aim of working towards an "ambitious and comprehensive Australia-UK free trade agreement ... to generate new trade and investment opportunities".

your quotes are selective. As just one for instance. The Australian government have said they will begin to formally discuss any trade deal until they have concluded a deal with the EU. The yanks have said the same.

The japenese foreign minister is the one saying their companies staying in the uk is conditional on access to the single market. Luckily our PM is keeping her powder dry and in time the rhetoric will stop and the full consequences of brexit will become clear.

Chances of article 50 being triggered 50/50

Are you optimistic of that too?
We were a key partner with access to the single market and a veto on much of the potential eu legislation. And we throw all that away to try and keep the trading deal.... Access to the single market will mean free movement of labour. Not a hope in hell of any other outcome and no matter how many new trade deals we sign with India and Australia it will never replace eu trade in terms of volume...
