Ron and I took an active decision to limit the number of "off topic" threads (as this is a horse racing board) and a number of these were rationalised into the "discuss anything except ....................." thread. As the shares / stock market thread was only sporadically used we decided merge it. Because the search function is still broken, finding threads which have not been posted on for some time is very onerous, hence the desire to bundle as many off-topic threads under the "discuss anything except" thread, which has regular contributions and is always near the top of the thread list.
That's a shame as you have given good info in the past and I would still like to hear from you. Perhaps I could get my email address to you via some method?
