Hmm, as someone who used to have a similar if less harsh view on Americans, i feel i should now stick up for them here. I live here, in a part of the country normally stereotyped as being inbred/hillbillies/dumb etc and it really isn't true. There are dumb people of course, like there are in the UK, but to claim they're all stupid is the stupidest thing i've ever heard.
