I have sympathy with data entry errors, but probably not so much with a pilot. Just yesterday my wife spotted that I had arranged to transfer £13,000 to pay off my credit card bill rather than £1,300. Cancelled just in time.
Scary stuff indeed. I hope our CEO took the appropriate action and issued a P45. Not sure why, but I have my doubts that any internal action was taken.
