    .
No point going there and telling them. All the micks have emigrated from Dublin (there are few pickled paddies still hanging around) and the migrants don't care!

Dual passport bud, best of both worlds, although I can't wait for the break up of the rest of the EU

So the massive trade deal (approx 4% the size) of the current eu exports won't end be agreed until AFTER the Aussies have agreed a new trade deal with the new EU. Exactly the same as the deal with America.

The Japanese are threatening to move their car plants to the EU mainland if we don't remain in the single market. David Davies the cabinet member responsible for delivering brexit told the House of Commons this week that we won't stay in the single market and if we did we would have to accept free movement of labour if we did.

The swivel eyed loons have truly ****ed us over.

Cue the denial of any responsibility for the chaos this is going to cause.

There was always going to be a swings and roundabouts situation when leaving the EU, chances are there'll some sort of propaganda from both sides but, it's better to control oneself than be controlled by others.

Most of the other EU countries will be watching what happens to us in the future.

The free trade deal with Australia is set to generate 250,000 jobs.
Japanese firms currently employ 120,000 people in the UK (only 18,000 in their head offices)

    Top tip

    Research before posting <ok><laugh>

People still have their heads stuck firmly in the sand.

Please tell me what the upsides are going to be and when, because as it stands i can't see any.

The exchange rate is crippling the company i work for and there's no sign of it letting up any time soon. The longer it goes on (and it will go on) the more chance of us having redundancies, maybe even closing down, and this is a very very well run business.

Are you seriously trying to tell me that a trade deal with Australia is going to outweigh the current deal with the whole of the EU, really? <yikes>

This is a deal that is at least 3 years off.

This is a deal with a country on the other side of the world.

A country to and from which shipping and freight is already going to be expensive as well as the delivery times being excessive. At a time when one of the bigger players (Hanjin) has just gone to the wall and its likely more will follow.

    I give in <doh>

A weak pound is brilliant for UK exports - a well run firm should be smashing the pants off of this <ok>

Gotcha - so EU businesses are going to stop trade with the UK as they do not need the £420 billion we spend on importing their goods and services <doh>

You do realise trade is supposed to be a 2 way street don't you?

You do also realise we're lining up to lose the free trade part? <doh>
