We didn't start the window talking about a £100m warchest and ambition

Klopp isn't a fan of big signings in general but the bigger ones will likely be saved for next season when we're back in the CL, for now a small squad is enough [HASHTAG]#parttimefc[/HASHTAG]

He is like Coutinho only a bit better. Coutinho will turn up every 5 or 6 games and win it for them (and look amazing), Mane will do this for longer periods (maybe 6 or 7 games at a time) then go missing for a few (4 or 5). A decent buy but not cheap.

I've was posting that Bailly, Bolasie, Stones, Luiz, and Pogba were overrated long before the [HASHTAG]#stats[/HASHTAG] backed me up

I disagree with Benteke being on it, his goals are worth his fee

Who can you buy for less than £34m that will "win and look amazing in 6 or 7 games in a row"?

You really need to watch some football occasionally instead of taking other peoples word for things <ok>

Klopp has paid less than the going price for pretty much everyone he's signed. In a few seasons people will look back on Karius and Matip for less than £5m as some of the best deals in the era of the new TV deals.

Man Utd paid that much to Mourinho to not work for anyone else for a couple of months and it was Pogba's agent's hourly rate.

The only close one is we could have maybe saved a couple of million on Wijnaldum but Klopp wanted the deals done quickly so he could get on with preseason.

Karius is a very good keeper by the way, I have no idea about Matip and unfortunately have no one who plays FM to ask (I have no faith in stats at all so never look at them, I believe what I see).
 
Benteke rejected the opportunity to move to China six months earlier when a Super League club offered £45 million for his services".Benteke's Liverpool prospects ended up in the toilet after Jurgen Klopp took over at Anfield, and there's obviously no way he'd pull the chain on his career by moving to China at the age of 25 (!)

Benteke clearly has ambition (to play for the Belgium national team, for example), and moving to China in the prime of his career would've been tantamount to career suicide.

Benteke was right to hold out for a move to another Premier League club, and I have no doubt that he will be a success at Crystal Palace.

Ballotelli was one we needed to get rid of to Chinese team for £20m.

Can am totally understand why Benteke wouldn't want to go. Still has ambition and not just for a final pay day
