the age of the tread probably helps it. i have noted that the carragher arms is not the most viewed thread on here so peeps need to get talking.
I've had a look - Spurs rivals thread is the closest with just over 900,000, it's 4 years old so a whole year younger than this. Bearing in mind this thread only rises to the top twice a year phenomenal is the only word for it.
given i got 3200 views (90% by greez looking for something to snipe at) for the same basic topic it does indicate it must have been very busy. I am not sure of age of this tread really. I had to merge it to prevent it being deleted so it may be a 2012 thread. I recall it was reasonably old and i picked a dead thread to merge into on the day quick.
United? They've got about 4 posters.. Plus Tobes. Subderland are are busy but they have about 6 posts in a thread then create a new one I noticed!
This thread wasn't always used either... There were 2 or 3 transfer window threads that were done separate, before we just used one and merged the old with the new missing out the middle.
#Liverpool will have scouts watch Mahmoud Dahoud in Germany U21s v Finland U21s, today. He's available for €10m in 2017. [Kicker]
He'll prob sign a new contract with a big wage increase and changing his buyout clause to £40m or something.
£50k salary increase... Suarez did same thing for us. de gea did same ag United... (Although the dreaded fax machine breaking ruined that deal)
the munchers can't pay it... he's got 2 years left as we speak and is 20.... that 50k is a million euros/pounds or whatever. ends up as a million.... before tax.... but in the mean time he could find that half the clubs in europe will be offering him a **** ton... At 20 a short term decision could change his career utterly... this is after all the sterling quandry. We sold him for 49mil. this lot turned down 25 for a 20 year old and he could be 10mil next summer.... The club felt they needed a midfield first and 15mil wasn't going to cut it. So we will see. The lad if he's all that will have them queuing up for the bargain.
Thag extra £1m will be massively offset if they sell him for £20m rather than £10m which is his current realise as has been reported. And bit lf a contradiction, a short term decision could change his career. You suggesting f he doesn't move he will be what, left behind But same time suggesting sterling would have been better not moving. So so what you saying, this guy should move to a bigger team at a young age, or stay where he is, therefore agreeing s new contract otherwise they lose him on a free.
Im suggesting hes already been blocked from moving and signing what you suggest is only of real benefit to the club. You are speaking for them. The players best interests is to get to a top club where ever that may be asap. Yhere no advantage to him bar very short term gain and football is littered with players who signed thing expecting clubs to let them go and end up with a shock.
Who says he wants to even leave? Playing regular football at 20... Moves to us and becomes a squad player. Would he not be better signing new deal, getting another 1 or 2 seasons at current club then they can sell for £25m rather than £10m and he gets 2 more years full time playing rather than bit part - the opposite of sterling.
Klopp has been personally involved with the Dahoud transfer for while and probably made it clear he isn't just intended as a squad player.
