I don't think he's done a lot wrong to be fair. He could have been all over social media using it to agitate for a move, so the fact he kept quiet is, for me, a good thing not bad.

I don't think he's done anything to call his professionalism into question.

I haven't. Just said he could have spoken sooner to quash the rumours.

He wasn't obliged to say anything, he has obviously now responded to the malicious and false negativity being made up about his actions. If you followed recent comments on Twitter you will understand why.

I don't use Twitter, so can't comment on what's being said. Just my opinion, but as captain of the team I think he could have been a little bit smarter, once the rumours started circling, and maybe he does have an obligation towards the fans that have backed him 100% since he joined us.

Had he signed for us two or 3 years ago, we'd be saying nothing. But he's our captain & has been flying the flag with us for six years, that's why people are shocked & giving him some deserved stick. He told us he was on board, content with the plan, then one strange summer of success, we suddenly have to put up with him seemingly courting offers from elsewhere. Needs to get his head down, and show CP what he can do. Screw social media, that time has passed anyway.

We don't know if his actions were subject to restriction from the Club or influenced by his agent, too much reading between the lines going on, possibly giving a false impression.

Among much of the dross on Twitter [HASHTAG]#saintsfc[/HASHTAG] there is frequently the genuine article which gives you advance information so it isn't all bad media to access.

As a man with a dyslexic wife and 2 dyslexic kids I sympathise. But back on the thread, what's happened to that whisky bottle?

The cap has been soldered on as apparently it is too thin to weld. Meanwhile I have drilled a hole in the top and inserted a straw as was suggested by another very sympathetic poster.

You need to learn Welsh - we spell words the way they sound... honest

What about all those ff and ll sounds and I defy any normal person to get their tongue around:

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

You can say it as "lan-vire-pool-guin-gith-go-ger-u-queern-drob-ooth-clandus-ilio-gogo-goch" which translates roughly as "St Mary's Church in the Hollow of the White Hazel near a Rapid Whirlpool and the Church of St. Tysilio near the Red Cave" according to the very lovely Mrs Godders who knows all about Welsh type things.

Hooray for this. The squad needs to settle down and knuckle down so this season can actually get started. Having a happy captain around the place has to be important. Moving along!

Nope. I get u and a (i and e as well) mixed up sometimes, due to my brain mixing them up. But when I look at the word again and I can see what I have done wrong.

There are certain words that I always seem to type incorrectly, when I type "than", it always comes up as "that", when I type "remember" and it comes out as "remeber", the problem occurs when you type something, even when you proof read, your brain tells you that it is correct even when it is clearly wrong, someone else would instantly pick it up.

I used to do a bit of proofreading...your eye sees what it expects to see. The trick is (if a paper is very important) to read it backwards....then your eye doesn't play tricks as the text is meaningless.
