Sissoko has been sucking off Arsenal for years and said the best thing in his career was beating Spurs to allow Arsenal to come 2nd
Mohamed Sissoko Apparently he is a free agent, aged 31. West Brom and Hull are looking at him. Always thought he was a great player for us, very committed if a bit eccentric. His bad eye injury, a freak injury, finished his career with us very early.
yeah he was great at tackling unfortunately half the time it was to win back the ball he had just given away
He is what we are missing, a good tackler. He may not have been very skillful but he could win a ball and lay it off to the more skillful players.
Yep - crying out for that right now. Rafa certainly had an eye for central midfielders. I'm hoping Klopp can continue to pursue someone like Dahoud.
i had a soft spot for him but i think it was partially because he always reminded me of a clumsy but willing Labrador charging round a field
momo was a great lad but lord have mercy... he couldn't pass a ball 5 yards... he was the most inaccurate passer I've ever seen in red. But in fairness... he was a right good strong man and ball winner.
He was. Trouble is it was normally making amends for his initial **** up most of the time. I was more saddened by the fact Lucas never got more time to learn off Alonso and masch.
I slag Lucas a lot but to be fair, he was an attacking midfielder who performed the DM role due to lack of options, and it stuck with him.
Remember how many were happy to see alonso go? I was apoplectic with rafa and said he got what he deserved after it all I still cant believe people thought the failed juve bid was a good deal for us the we see him being absolutely ace and then no credit to him for our second place finish and then real buy him. Massive massive error by Rafa that. All based on far frank breaking his ankle.
To be fair, Alonso played poorly for two seasons before his amazing last season so I can see why he thought about letting him go. But Alonso was always going to leave, even if Rafa hadn't tried to sell him previously - because he's world class and bigger clubs wanted him.
