" Although Ipswich have improved their squad this season i think we'll be to fit for them, 3-0 city win. "

Well based on us winning 1-0 last time with 10 men for 60 minutes, and us improving, how will you suddenly win 3-0 from losing 1-0 and creating sod all against 10 men last time ???

Fair enough if you think 3-0 City, however to say that as the rest of you point is laughable at best !

I think draw. You won't want to lose at home, and have had a quite horrific pre-season.

I live in Keynsham, and City are my second team so very interested to see the game, which of course I will be at.

    1-1 prediction.

Ipswich was my second team when i was a young un,the likes of mariner, osman, butcher, wark that was a cracking team, loved it when they were beating the so called big boys.

Then you had the legend Bobby Robson, what a great man he was a real football man.

Good of you to say so Red Robin.

I remember when were both playing in the old First Division back in the early 80s when you had Gerry Gow playing up front!

To be fair,we are far stronger than last seasons start, all players are fit,we have added quality in Killkenny, and spence.Maynard is back and scoring for fun.
City will be much stronger this time around.
Still reckon it will be a good opening days fixture by two football sides, playing attacking football.

Why do i think that the Robine had some maritime/nautical connotation behind it? perhaps the name of a boat around at a similar time to the creation of BCFC?

Im prob talking BS. But whilst im here - im going for a 1-0 ipswich mainly because i have the tractor boys down as my dark horse team!

    Thats good

We're also about a mile better than last season too - so with you being a bit better and us better I still really don't get how you go from losing a game 1-0 to coasting a game 3-0

You may well win, but theres zero chance your going to batter us 3-0 opening day.
