Good business, sell a guy for £55m then buy him back for £30m, buy a good LB with the left over money
Some quoted west brom willing to shove 20mil at us but we aint interested. Ive no idea of its veracity
Thought it was more than that, but the same thing stands, in effect they have got Near enough a free LB
No they spent 21. Sold for 50 bought again for 30.. Thats a net spend of a mil.... so no they didnt get anything out of him really. Over his chelsea career hes basically cost 1mil plus wages. The rich sods dont care anyway.
We do need a cb according to all on here so i suppose we can finance their james rodriguez bid. I think we need to pay more though
Nope, they spent £21m (if you are right) and sold for £50m. They then rebought for £30m so now they have the same player plus £20m profit which they have put towards a LB (plus they have saved 2 years of Dave's wages)
Nope, they still have the same player plus a good LB, total cost £26m. Good business in todays market
Apart from the sold him 3 years ago and have spent money since so doesn't really work out like that. At the time was crazy business selling for that money, psg weren't feeling right at the time so fair play Chelsea selling so high. He's not worth £30m now though so still overpaying for him.
