He's doing the half time commentary for the west ham game aswell. Hopefully there's no hard feelings, he did a great job under the circumstances. We just needed a fresh start.
DJ got a lot of respect by keeping his views to himself after he left. I appreciate this report will only have used comments from within the whole interview that would have maximum impact but I sense a few sour grapes creeping in there. I still hope he finds another job soon - if that's what he wants. Can't wait for the Wales on Line "exclusive" on this interview tomorrow.
Lee Naylor on Twitter... (not sure if it is Lee or not) Edit... To clarify, @LeeNaylor3 is a FAKE account. This is NOT Lee Naylor, nor does Nayls have a twitter account. But a good spoof. I am back on Twitter. What has Dave Jones been saying about me in the press? My missus won't show me the newspaper.... Can't believe Dave Jones has been slagging me off! That prick used to beg me to come round for a game of scrabble all the time. And this is how he repays me? Well Dave, don't come begging me to play for you when you get the Runcorn FC job! We're finished! Games easier? Would like to see him play in one, the fat scouse twat! I'm fuming. For the record I have always found the Cardiff fans great. Yes some of them booed me last season, but thats because I was playing badly........ and losing them games, what should I expect? Dave Jones can take his comments and stick them up his arse. Have a **** journey home too. Me and him used to be mates, but I'm not happy that he has used me as a scapegoat to get at Malky. Last post on the Dave Jones subject, we're gonna win the league this year and i'm gonna send DJ a picture of me and the trophy! bloooobirds. @LeeNaylor3 Glasgow/Cardiff Cardiff City leftback, once of Celtic and Wolves. 3 caps for England U21.
I disagree when he thinks we want success this season and straight away, everyone is being realistic on what we can achieve in the league this year.
"I brought Lee Naylor down and you could see that Lee had been away from the English game for a long time.' translation - Lee Naylors **** but I played him anyway
Haha! Absolutley brilliant post by whoever wrote the Naylor Twitter thing. A bit sour from DJ, and also seems like he's attempting to take the high horse by saying that Malkay will need to better him. For me Malkay already has, Dave left us without a tem, now we have one! If that really is Naylor, then maybe I can forget those performances, great character! If it's a fan, full points for an enjoyable read!
A lot of this (if not all) is taken from last nights Radio 5 live Championship Review with Mark Champman, DJ, that twat Claridge and Mark Clemmit. Some interesting insights into the DJ/local press relationship that this bbc article hasn't mentioned. 5 live Championship Review Worth a listen if you've got some spare time DJ: I'd hope Naylor would have more sense than to put that on his twitter page. I don't use it so not sure how easy it is to manipulate EDIT: just saw your Malky spoof twitter thread so that answers my question
To clarify, @LeeNaylor3 is a FAKE account. This is NOT Lee Naylor, nor does Nayls have a twitter account. @CardiffCityFC
"everyone is being realistic" Er....is that why fans over here were saying Bellamy, Barton & Routledge should sign? Come on!
If you want to talk about realism Aussie shall we discuss the thread on the Swansea board where you all seem to think your going to finish just below mid table despite starting the new season with a worse squad than last year. Also are you trying to set a record of posting on every Cardiff thread.
In his own words: http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/ri...g/2011-08-04/jones-cardiff-tough-place-manage
Well, respect to DJ. From what I've heard over the past few days, inc this, he hasn't said anything derogatory about the club and is just getting on with it. View attachment 6213 A few little digs at our favourite journos which he's entitled to because they're ****e.
Hbomb most have been made redundant without DJ to write about DJ has been diplomatic and hasnt as you wrote been derogatory at all about the club, so full respect DJ
DJ is a pro, and will not risk jepoardising another post by bad mouthing one of his old clubs, DJ did well for Cardiff, just not quite well enough, but under the financial constraints he had to work under. he did a great job, thanks Dave and good luck
