I do like the way Phelan has chosen players that will fit into the squad, Marshall with the Scots, Mason with the Spurs lot and Keane he knows from Man U.

I think Derby had a net spend of circa 30m last season - that's without the parachute payments that Villa have to counter expenditure too.
