    I do like the way Phelan has chosen players that will fit into the squad, Marshall with the Scots, Mason with the Spurs lot and Keane he knows from Man U.

    Does the announcement of David Marshall signing mean that the tweet regarding Marcus Henriksen signing and will be unveiled with everybody else is all a load of rubbish? After the reports from the dutch, he is a very promising player and i just hope he is signing for us.

    I think Derby had a net spend of circa 30m last season - that's without the parachute payments that Villa have to counter expenditure too.
