For me if there are any less than 2 victories in the next 2 home games the board should consider AN's position.

The team selection for Birmingham was completely bizarre and contributed largely to us losing the match. It also shows us how much he doesn't rate Lafferty who I thought had a decent game against Coventry.

One point though to consider; The quality of the players in the team he put out should of been more than capable of getting a result on Saturday. You can blame the manager till the cows come home but there was enough quality in the team to get a result.

This worries me even more because it could signify that AN cannot get the best out of the players. Just look at Brady, he is a shadow.

We need our injured players to come back and a striker and then see how it is.

Another thought, It has been obvious that we needed a striker since the window opened and even before. It came home to roost on Saturday and we paid a heavy price. This cannot only be blamed on AN, what the hell is the board doing to remedy this? Nothing as far as I can tell. Have we even signed that chap from Benfica yet? Get it done!

Just posted on another thread that I've heard a rumour that Paul Lambert is being lined up to replace AN, not saying I agree with that but it's what I've heard. As the same 'source' told me about AN prior to his appointment I'm not dismissing it out of hand.

Fundamentally he could be a good candidate, but is he any good without IC or GK?

Bah!

I agree and what I find most disconcerting is that it's not just individual players having a bad game, but 9 or 10 having a 'mare.

It is worrying, we need a player or two with a bit of snarl who will always giveeverything and can drag some of the others out of their malaise

Bah!
