They'd fancy themselves to be in the top tier within 5 or 6 years though.so Celtic and Rangers will be banished to something like the old Blue Square division of the English league lol.
They should be embarrassed by the suggestion not clamouring for it.

Which is what they've wanted for years, but it was never going to happen directly with the PL.
This is the back door route, and I hope it's slammed shut. The thought of those drunken bell ends invading towns and Cities down here in civilisation every other week, is not a positive.

Their match day revenue would be enough to get them through the lower tiers on its own, as they'd outstrip everyone else in that regard
They're both **** though and will receive even less sponsorship and revenue than they do in the SPL and with no CL. I can't see them getting higher than League 1. They'll be ****ed imo. Another Leeds Utd.

I disagree they'd be in the top flight soon enough and eventually both be top 8 at least I imagine.
Don't see it happening though, and rightly so... **** 'em.
No, not good enough!
Not top 8, but lower end of Prem
Why lower Prem? Tv money on top of their commercial income they would catapult right near the top within a few years.
Their own commercial income is like a penny in a fountain when it comes to the PL [HASHTAG]#smallclubmentality[/HASHTAG]
Yeah but if they added the PL money and after a few years I'd be willing to bet it would be higher than all but a handful.
So ignoring all other income, how does their commercial income compare to all PL clubs?
No doubt they have a big following but I'd liken it to Newcastle or Leeds
