Thought it was a bit odd.
I wish more English players went abroad though, that's an issue why our national team is so pure. Far too one dimensional.

True, but Keeper who is 29 going abroad probably doesn't help National team very well. Need to do it younger.
See Chris Burke from Forest, 19 year old Scottish player, has signed for German club (owned by Red Bull) for £13m. Bloody good money from Forest, but he's looked a talent from what I've seen in Championship. Be interesting seeing how he gets on.

I think a lot of it might be the fact keepers are usually transferred at the start of the summer, they don't get bought much towards the back end of August because people like to sort their keepers out early.
We might've taken him had we known he was available and not bought Karius.

IF Sturridge is not playing regularly, he would like to leave.Also, he has himself to blame for talking too much about the position he wants to play.I think Klopp punished him for that against Tottenham.
