You need to get:

Religion (that no one actually practices )

Bigotry

False identity

And obsession over 17 century and 19 century history

And we'll be there in a heart beat

Oh , and some racism

Substitute regional accent for religion, & WWII for 17th century history, & we're in business <ok>

I don't like what it's going to do all the clubs like Hearts, Aberdeen, Hibs, Dundee's. That league will be ruined if Celtic and Rangers join the English football league. We are playing with hundreds of thousands of people lives, as football is important wherever you go. The remaining teams attendances will go down, so will players wages and so will the quality.

It's no wonder they all ****ing hate us up there.

You could flip that over mate.

Maybe with a chance of silverware and exciting league races the attendance levels may well go up?

I suppose it would be more competitive that way. Where as your top young talent now goes to Celtic and Rangers, you would have the full of the English Premier league skimming off it.

Loads of ways to look at it.

From a personal point of view, I'd want it, mate. The quality and competition would be brilliant, with the new finances Celtic and Rangers would be challenging seriously in Europe. They are two massive clubs with huge support. The other part about what it might do to Scottish football doesn't sit well with me, though.

It's all about money now. Celtic and Rangers have outgrown Scottish football years ago.

What if Scotland gets independence?

Getting to the games would be a nightmare going through border control. Is that how it will work?
Dunno. Derry City have played in the League of Ireland since early 70s.

The border controls were a bit more tight back then than any between England and Scotland will be.
