    I personally wouldn't entertain it at all at this stage (if it's true). We're still trying to get a few over the line as it is without adding a frantic search for a lb to it.

    I hope it's one of those situations like a couple of seasons ago, where on Friday Uncle Les does one of his interviews with a big grin on his face saying that everything was in full control, whilst all the madness was going on in the media / Twitter rumours etc. Then the grin will get bigger when he says how our ambition is still there after breaking our transfer record twice in the last 2 days of the transfer window?
    Well we can all dream can't we? :)

    I can't believe Bertrand would be allowed to go at this point unless we have a high quality replacement in a room with a photographer, Les Reed, a contract and a pen.

    Heh, people have already driven the odds on him being the next manager to leave down to 9/1, which are the fifth-lowest. Particularly impressive given that there shouldn't need to be a market, because the answer is clearly Alan Pardew.
