I like the Stones too, just that the Beatles paved the way for all the rest. Without The Beatles there would have been no Rolling Stones.

At their best? Gimme shelter, for me...

The Stones have a few classics. Gimme Shelter obviously. Paint It Black is epic. Wild Horses is another although Jagger's wobbly voice means it's been covered better. They also produced some utter ****, even during their best years and before they became a circus act.

The Beatles were more innovative and consistent. The Stones could never create something like the second half of Abbey Road.

Even their covers were great. Twist and Shout. Long Tall Sally (McCartney's voice at its best).

Richards was one of the first to start dicking around with guitar tuning. Gimme Shelter is with the guitar tuned to an open E chord.

It's part of how he gets that sound...

Most of the Beatles songs were horseshit.
    Drug addled, non sequitur, horseshit.
Plus they were ****ty instrumentalists (Harrison's guitar skills aside).
I honestly think I am a better drummer than Ringo star (I am a drummer by the way)

We'll have to agree to disagree. Their enormous and enduring worldwide popularity must be down to luck and/or the massive PR machine behind them <laugh>

Phil Collins, who was himself influenced by Starr, said; “Ringo is vastly underrated. The drum fills on the song "A Day in the Life" are very complex things. You could take a great drummer today and say, 'I want it like that.' He wouldn't know what to do.” In 2011, Starr was picked as the fifth-best drummer of all-time by Rolling Stone readers, behind drummers such as John Bonham and Keith Moon.

This, also McCartney's voice on 'Baby I'm amazed' is sensational, never tire of listening to it.

'Spiral' assumes some sort of control.

'Plummet' is more like it after that.

Liverpool won't play an easier game all season.

    Liverpool absolutely ruined Leicester <laugh>

In the end we were just teasing them with silly passes!!

Leicester without Kante are shocking. Simple as that.

Leicester play badly when Drinkwater does.

It's always been the case. Last season when Drinkwater had bad games, we lost.

There's a gaping hole in your midfield without Kante. We eased passed you all game, could have been 6-1 easily.

I did predict 4-0, shame Lucas messed it up for me <laugh>

This season is going to be so embarrassing as PL champions!

It would have been 9-0 if you had a decent striker.
