So the fans should have no say whatsoever?

The club is only 'hers' because she inherited it from her father. She didn't found it or anything! A football club 'belongs' - in spirit - to the fans. Club owners should appreciate this.

Also I think it is fairly belittling to suggest that the fans are just a bunch of clueless, greedy dimwits.

I didn't suggest that at all Black and it's rude you say that I did. However, if you're asking, then I do actually think a lot are exactly that. It's her club/her Dad's club. If he was here today I'd say the same.

The fans choose to support or not and I don't believe we have any real say in how the club is run. We have a choice to support or not support. We are important to the club for our support, not how it's run in terms of finance/business strategy.
