Erm.... With the greatest respect , nor are Spurs, especially at the business end of the competition/season !
Just saying .......:bandit:

That was the last couple of games when we realised we couldn't win the title.
I'm not excusing the player's behaviour, they should have been far more professional. That was just a shadow of a team playing.
We're a young side, youngest in the prem last season, the players will hopefully learn with experience.

The greatest bottle job, the mother of all bottle jobs !

Yeah, I kinda think that winning the league title in one season then, in the very next, battling relegation and getting shat on in the CL and arse-pumped in the Europa is probably going to be a bit of a bigger "bottle job" than us finishing 3rd last season.

The sooner Leicester is relegated and you Foxes fans are back on the Championship board enjoying spats with Ipswich fans, the better off we'll be on this board.

How bitter can you be? I think the foxes deserve their walk in the sun, winning the premiership by 10 points was no fluke. You can only beat what's in front of you and if the others were **** they were better. Spurs punched above their weight last season and still came in lame. But Europa territory will be their forte next season as things return to the original London pecking order.

Good luck Foxes!

Spurs played 4 UEFA KO stage games during the final third of the 2015-16 PL
season and still qualified automatically for the CL. A first in 10 years granted,
but an upward progression nonetheless.

The good thing for Leicester is that their PL win happened now and not 2-3 yrs ago.

The UEFA rankings scheme would have meant they were pot 4 fodder and
looking at what Celtic got yesterday. I mean, even Citeh with their mega-bucks
could not avoid serious opposition for the CL group stages for their first 2-3 seasons.

... the good thing for Spurs is that the end of season implosion didn't come slightly earlier or they might not even be in the CL draw at all ... <whistle>...

See below.

" ...Spurs punched above their weight last season and still came in lame. But Europa territory will be their forte next season as things return to the original London pecking order."

It's accurate, I know you don't like it but it's a fact. Being fans of a club that's done nothing of note since the early 60's it seems like one blue moon has gone to your heads but I do feel your pain, I really do.

As you cannot prove this statement incorrect it's taken as a fact but I wish you great luck fighting off Southampton, West Ham and Leicester for 6th.

I like how Spurs fans take shots at us for being a small club.

We know we're a small club. But we still won the Premier League.

We might well go back to where we belong, but you'll always stay where you belong... the nearly men of English Football.
<cheers>

That is a predictable and exceedingly dull reply, Skiddy.

The lads have grown incredibly bored with it and with you. All that keeps them interested is my perpetual "owning" of you. But it's such a turkey-shoot that I, too, have grown bored with it. I crave a proper challenge. Oh, how I wish A87 was back!

Your proper title, actually, is the "Never Again" men of English Football.

I don't need to, as you cannot prove the statement to be correct.
That is how proof of propositions work. <Logic 101>
