Pet hate -Posters who don't have the overall well being and long term security of OUR club at heart. You can be a boycotter or an attender & still be principled (personally I prefer to be inside the tent this season, p!ssing in). What I cannot stand are these creepy old leches who's annual highlight and hard on is a selfie with Meire in the car park, and spout this utter sh1te about "I'm just interested in the football" as if Charlton could sink to Kent league 8 in £100m of debt...just so long as "I can watch the football". "Ooh I took my grandson to his first game all the way from Essex last Saturday and I didn't need a Viagra when I spotted Katrien in the car park. She was soooo nice" I witnessed this myself at one of the car park protests last season, when an old duffer dressed in Primark came out of the West Stand at full time looking like an extra from a scene in Little Britain, and started shouting "call yerself supporters " at all and sundry. No doubt he then went home, logged in to ITTV and knocked one out over a sticky photo of KM. It seems to me our current generation of fans has a responsibility - as we did when the club was last in mortal danger at Selhurst in the 80s - to keep the show on the road. How many of the craven Apologists lasted the course then ?
A2C still pops up from time to time. Lately he's been defending our fragrant CEO against attacks fro "exenophobes", and telling all and sundry what a fine job she and Roland are doing.
I'm a sinister message board voyeur - generally just read them all but if I really want to say anything I come on here because it is easily the most balanced. I can genuinely say no-one really winds me up because whilst I love CAFC and am devastated at the current plight and detest these owners, I tend to end up looking at much of the content thinking 'get over it mate - more to life'. But the spats are great entertainment and without the Colins and Vols of this world properly poking the nest on each side it would be very dull. Reams just seems so unsuited to be a key moderator - inconsistent, and often right on the edges of acceptability when it comes to things like incitement to violence etc but then you have to say it gets everyone going and fair play he has a biggish following. Lardiman is easily the most rational poster across the three boards but I fear he may be the prototype anorak, while most of the CL key posters are simply verbose and up themselves. Sad. So talking of verbose to answer the question.... If he is genuine A2C - what a total tit. If he is a wum though he is a total total genius and I want to shake his hand and buy him many beers.
