No problems selling Sakho as long as we have a quality replacement - that's the worry.

There is no way we can rely on Lovren or Klavan this season.

Liverpool are targeting Ajax winger Anwar El Ghazi as cover for summer signing Sadio Mane, according to reports.
Il Tempo – are claiming that Jurgen Klopp is interested in the Netherlands winger as the Liverpool boss looks to sign a pacey winger before the close of the summer transfer window.

The same article states that Mane’s injury means the Reds manager wants some cover for the Senegal international.

However, the story reports that Liverpool will face competition from Serie A side Lazio for the 21-year-old winger in the summer transfer market.

We do need a really direct wing man - can't rely on mane all season plus he'll be off to ACON.

But for the love of God, buy a couple of defenders.

 

Man Utd can't even give Schweinsteiger away for free. It's like Balotelli except they actually believed he was #worldclass

 

Compared to Balo the German is Universe class, they got their player at the arse end of his career, we an arse end.

 

Why? Lovren has improved and Klavan hasn't put a foot wrong yet.

 

STURRIDGE 'NOT HAPPY'
Daniel Sturridge is frustrated with his role on the wing and has underlined his desire to play at centre-forward for Liverpool.
As reported by the Guardian, after Liverpool's 5-0 win over Burton, Sturridge said: "Of course it is more difficult for me to play wide. I'm a centre-forward. In the modern day game you have to try and be flexible but everyone knows my best position.
"Everyone knows where I enjoy playing the most. I'm a player who plays on instinct, and in the middle I have clarity on movements and things that I have been doing for years. I am on autopilot there. You just do things because you are used to doing it."

Your centre back pairing including Joel Matip?.

 

I would like to keep Markovic. To me he looks a player completely out of confidence and form. He has great pace and is a different option for ourselves. We got rid of Ibe and Ojo is very young so we only have three actual wingers at the club.

 

He hasn't played any game on the wing under Klopp?

Lovren is awful - he just doesn't make those high profile mistakes but is tackling, decision making and positioning rank amongst the worst I have seen from a defender.

He's improved from being dog **** to human ****.

Klavan was poor at the weekend - he's a back up - nothing more, nothing less.

 

I know what you mean with Lovren, I still feel that he's a mistake waiting to happen but credit where due he's doing ok at the moment.

Klavan has been good, I feel that Matip and Klavan will eventually be our starting pair and I feel they are a good combination.
