Pretty sure Dai Yongge had a scrap in China with some money laundering but was never charged because he was so high up in the worker's party.

Last time I was involved in a company sale (2007) there was no pinging going on at all! On the 'final day' we, the sellers sat in our solicitors office from 9am to 9pm doing bugger all except provide the odd answer to lawyer's questions. 200 page documents etc had to be faxed between lawyers, buyers, banks, guarantors and various other interested parties, you can imagine how long it takes. And this was for the simplest of sales. City and the Chinese could be at it for days!

Much will be done and elements wrapped up, it will be more a case of pulling the completed elements together to close the deal; unless anew element has unravelled. If not we might be able to enjoy our club again, very soon. Let's hope that is the case, it really would be good.
