It does seem a sad pattern though on here doesn't it...how many times have we said ..sad to see him go but he never was/he's no longer good enough? Other than those we say cheerio happily to because they are royal pains in the arse? Not many we cry over eh?
yup. Suarez is about the only one since.... alonso? I mean you are right players all age... hyppia, carragher, gerrard.. their time had come. In the olden days keegan left and in came dalgish. souness left and he was replaced in a numbe rof ways... when rush left he was replaced. We did replace torres too... once suarez got motivated to get a good move but alonso, mascherano... hyppia, carragher, gerrard, reina.... we have systematically failed to replace them properly over the last 5/6/7 years Mane for me is head and shoulders already our best player. If karius and matip can step up it might even be a good window for us.

It's kind of funny...we were linked with a bunch of proper wingers early on...think it's obvious why...no width... Think the Gomez injury fecked up the LB cover and reluctant to buy until we see if he's lost something. I can only believe that Moreno is mental issue...great in training but brain farts on match day...otherwise we'd have bought a direct replacement. Maybe Klopp thinks he can get his head right. Sakho has ****ed up the real competition at CB by being an arse. Can Injury means Hendobackupdude is playing before getting back to whatever Hendobackupdude's best is these days Origi injury fecked up showing that we don't need a slow assed Sturridge as first striker.. The danger of combining a smaller tighter squad with Klopps training methods...at least early on. Still think we will see the benefits of it earlier than some think..

So we lost to Burnley and that was hard to take. However I think there has been an over reaction to the loss and I believe Klopp will fix the teething issues. I believe Can is not fit as he always looks a yard behind when the season starts. I know Mito hates Stewart but he knows how to hold position and foul when required. Henderson should not play in that position. So if we do not sign a midfielder let him compete with Wiji for a spot and let Can Stewart and Lucas hold.
I'm happy with my 1st wife but, should my wife get run over by a bus, or the milkman, next week and I had to get a new wife, there is no way in hell i'd have another wedding. I would have to elope, or no marriage.
I don't care what anyone says, Lucas is not a CB and very much a back up. I applaud Klopp for taking a stance. If Sahko is a potential disruption then get rid. Unlike Mario, someone will take him!
Stewart has been solid, was hoping he'd play today but maybe klopp is 'punishing' the players that lost on Saturday by making them play today for their place at the weekend.
I'm disappointed that Henderson keeps getting played ahead of others which would balance the team just because he's the captain, a choice that seems more and more poor the longer we go on. For a start he's not really cpt material and now he seems to have massively stalled in his development and looks more of the player we bought from Sunderland. If Wijnaldum is to be played as a CM, then a proper DM is needed as it leaves us too open defensively. Also someone needs to teach the defenders to concentrate and stop making stupid mistakes. If we hadn't handed Burnley the opening goal then the game would have been completely different.
The problem with some fans is they want at least one 'marquee' signing every window or else we're stuffed. We've never bought a big name so why keep expecting it. Add to that Klopp has a reputation for buying unknowns and developing them into top class players and we should already know what's going to happen in the transfer window. .... I nearly cried when we sold Kuyt ....
I just think he's not good enough to play cm. I would like to see him play rb and see if he looks like clyne in the position. If we are really going to play 433 then I think I'd like to see lallana fall into a wood chipper and wijnaldum play with can and henderson.... just to see. Stewart for me was a rb at spurs so it's going to be interesting to see if we put him there and clyne lb...
I'm happy with Mane... deffo our best player by a mile. Marquee should be that. Kuyts legs were gone for this league imo.
