SaintsWeb seem to think (and have photo evidence) of Les Reed and our scouting guy on a train to London.
This is a lad with a plan....didn't even try to pretend that he wanted to play for Saints since childhood. Intimated that he had seen players come here and move on right at the beginning. However, has its upside...we could get players choosing to come here and play well for a couple of years to further their careers and do us some good at the same time.
Well Stanciu would be in Manchester? Though doesn't mean that his agent isn't in London? Or could it be for another player?

Hey, I'm a fan of VW so don't bite my head off but we lost him last year for 14 games (I believe) purely through suspension - not sure on injuries? I bet someone has some analysis with & w/o? Anyone? I'd certainly like to see.

If he leaves in a couple of years time for a big club then i would not have a problem with that as he has been upfront and honest so far

From memory as a quick google search only brings up news about his transfer to Liverpool he said that he was glad to get to the PL and play here as it meant he could move to a big club in a couple of years if he performs.

This is from memory so no doubt I'll be corrected but this very stat was posted on SSN. We won 67% without him compared to 40ish% with him. I was most surprised.

Why not? As everyone pointed out to me the other day Italians always work out in the PL, let's pay juventus 50 million euros now just incase someone snatches him from under our nose.
