Unless the new keeper is Billy the Fish, I predict the trend will continue as is mate.

I'm expecting our new keeper to be solid when he's available, we will still drop points like everyone will but we will be there or thereabouts once
things have settled <ok>
 
I'm hoping our new keeper is much more in tune with klopp's system and no worse than mingolet in the air.. I HOPE.

I'm hoping matip comes in and makes a real difference of set piece and in the air generally.

I'm desperately hoping klopp wakes up and buys a LB and a CM.

I'm REALLY hoping mane stays fit and origi gets his chance

Kinda both I guess. I don't trawl the papers for transfer news, I just come on here. I don't really care as it's out of our hands, I just rather not fuss and wait till 1st of September and decide whether I'm happy with what we have. As for the season....I think it will be dominated by City, Chelsea and United. Between 4th and 6th I expect us to be fighting. Anything above that would be delightful, anything below that would be another disappointment.

Sums up my expectation for this year perfectly. Improvement and development is the key.

In Klopp's fairness, we are missing our two best central defenders (Sakho and Matip, although Matip still yet to prove himself in PL), no Can in midfield to or provide protection and no Karius to provide a platform from behind.

Having said that, I was hoping Klopp would have signed other options, So we didn't have to rely on the likes of Hendo and Lovren in such key areas.
 
The Burnley game really was on Klopp beCause there is no way Milner should be LB, Hendo as deep playmaker and Lovren as RCB. These positions should have been addressed in the window.

He might have been better off swaping Hendo and Milner around. How have we ended up like this?
 
As much as I trust Klopp, I can not believe it if we don't address at least the left back issue, let alone defensive mid. I even wonder if he is trying to prove a point and show that he can make Moreno into a good player.

if , and it is a big if , we buy a DM it would mean the £25m spent on Winijaldum was pretty much a total waste unless there is an offer for Hendo we accept

To be fair, it's easy to make a blooper reel for any player. His was really terrible but he's in a position which isn't suited to him.

He's simply not good enough to be a starter for us but he can be a good squad option (similar to Lallana) as long as he has the key players around him.

And what exactly is a squad player?

Especially if you're moaning about him playing when the only reason he is playing is because Can is returning from injury!

I know Jimmy..lots of guys said similar..some asked why no Couts reel etc...to me it's not an either or thing. By all means I hope Klopp has one made for each player lol...

I can buy the out of position thing for being in the wrong place etc but the rest of it...seemingly forgetting how to tackle or pass or trap a ball when under no pressure? That's mentality...he has none..once front off with Costa doesn't balance the ****.

He's not good enough simples...as you say. The armband experiment to see if pride would make him step up has failed...instead of high energy running in cricles he can't even do that without thinking about it now.

Anyway...here's the reel for those that haven't seen it. By all means of there's one of the stuff he got right someone share lol...or any of the rest of the ****ers lol...

But he's not playing in the right set up for him - he needs a playmaker behind him and a ball winner next to him, and he's the one who makes the runs into the box and does all the work off the ball.
